The United Way of Quinte got a big shot in the arm from Loyalist College. The campus campaign began in October, with funds coming from a pancake breakfast, a successful product sale and donations from employees and Loyalist Student Government. On Tuesday the President and CEO of Loyalist College, Maureen Piercy, along with a number of students presented a cheque for $18,659 to the Executive Director of the United Way of Quinte, Judi Gilbert.
