Maynooth Madness Back for a 29th Year

It’s the annual tradition that celebrates the history of Maynooth and it’s back for another year.

The 29th annual Maynooth Madness is on this Saturday. Joe Schulman, the Director of the Maynooth and Hastings Highlands Buisiness Association and volunteer with Maynooth Madness, calls this the event that signals the end of Summer.

Over the past few years, the event has moved to becoming more of a street fair. This year there will be pop-up vendors lining the streets of downtown Maynooth. Schulman says there will be lots for the kids to do inside Edmond Hall. There will also be music playing throughout the day.

One event that everyone always looks forward to, Schulman says, is Maynooth Got Talent. It starts at 7 and only costs a Toonie to get in. Schulman says they usually get lots of musical acts.
