The federal government is investing over $164,000 in job specific training at Loyalist College. MP Daryl Kramp made the announcement earlier this week. The money will be used in a project that will see ten recent post-secondary graduates be put into work experience positions by paid internships in high-demand occupations in fields related to their studies and career goals. This will be a partnership between the college and private sector employers. The funding comes from the Career Focus program, a part of the federal government’s Youth Employment Strategy.
