Two members of a Coe Hill area hunt club have been fined a total of $2,500 for moose hunting offences during last October’s Moose Hunt. A Peterborough man pleaded guilty to shooting a cow moose when he was only licensed to hunt calf moose, for which he was fined $2,000. A second man from Bridgenorth pleaded guilty to transporting wildlife illegally killed and was fined $500. The moose was shot in Wollaston Township.
