There was a lot of disappointment in Apsley this past Saturday as the Minor Hockey Player Appreciation Night fell through. This was to be the last home game of the season for the North Kawartha Knights and plans were set to celebrate with minor hockey players getting into the game for free. However, the Knights opponents for the evening, the Georgina Ice canceled with very short notice due to the weather. We are waiting to see if the game will be re-scheduled.
