The North Kawartha Knights will hold their minor hockey appreciation night on this Friday. All active minor hockey players from Apsley, Bancroft and surrounding areas who wear their hockey jerseys to the game will receive free admission when accompanied by an adult. The North Kawartha Knights will play the Georgina Ice to make up for last Saturday’s cancelled game. This will be the Knights’ final home game of the year. Regular adult admission price is $9. The puck drops at 8:00 p.m. at the North Kawartha Community Center. The Knights’ record against the Georgina Ice is 4 wins and 2 losses, and they are hoping to add another win to that record on Friday.
