Peterborough County OPP has charged a trio after they attempted to mislead police in an investigation. Police were called about a truck in a ditch early Saturday morning, just off Division Road, that had been reported earlier as being driven by an impaired driver. Officers observed two sets of tracks leading away from the site. Three people returned to the site in another car and a woman said she had been driving the truck when it crashed. Police were able to disprove their story and charged the three with Obstructing a Peace Officer. The accused are have a court date in March.
