Daryl Kramp, MP for Prince Edward-Hastings and Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security has announced a 10-year, $100 million investment to prevent, detect, and combat family violence and child abuse. Kramp says he is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all Canadians and will continue to stand up for victims of violence. The money will be administered through the Public Health Agency of Canada and Health Canada, covering a wide variety of programming designed to support victims’ physical and mental well-being.
