Environment Canada Confirms Tornado Touched Down in Calabogie

A third tornado has been officially confirmed in eastern Ontario having touched down during the severe thunderstorms last week.
Environment Canada confirms an EF-1 tornado with winds up to 175 km/h hit Calabogie around 4:15 PM Friday. An EF-1 tornado is the second highest on the tornado classification scale. The scale goes  from EF-0 to EF-5 (commonly known as F5). The tornado that touched down in Dunrobin in Ottawa was classified as as an EF-3 with winds up to 265 km/h.
After touching down in Calabogie, the tornado went around 15 kilometres east towards White Lake, Environment Canada reports.
Multiple houses have roof damage from the storm with even more trees being reported as being snapped or uprooted.
