Smile Cookie Campaign Raises Thousands for North Hastings Hospital Auxiliary

The Smile Cookie campaign was successful in raising thousands more for the North Hastings Hospital Auxiliary.

$8,797 was raised this year during the campaign, adding to the over $60,000 that has been raised so far this year by the Auxiliary. That leaves them less than $10,000 away from hitting their goal of $70,000. That money will be used to buy 10 new IV Pumps for the Hospital.

“We’d like to thank the community for once again contributing to such a great campaign,” says Michael Brooks, President of the Auxiliary in a statement to My Bancroft Now. “It met all of our expectations and it’s going to go a long way to getting those 10 new IV Pumps,” he added.

The next fundraising event the Auxiliary is hosting is next month’s Festival of Trees. That kicks off on November 23rd and leads into the Christmas season.

You can continue donating to the Auxiliary by visiting the Corner Cafe at 1 Manor Lane.
