The municipal election is coming up fast and some Bancroft residents still haven’t gotten their vote in.
Today is the deadline to mail out your voter kit if you live in Bancroft. You can still drop it off at the municipal office from today until election day on the 22nd, though.
My Bancroft Now took to the streets to see if people know who they’re voting for yet and if they have sent in their ballot.
Mayor Paul Jenkins is running for re-election as Mayor against Councillor Mary Kavanagh. In Ward 2, Bill Wellwood, George Eastman and Valerie Miles are the candidates for council.
The municipal election is October 22nd.
