Loyalist grant helping students find employment with local drink company

A government grant is giving Loyalist College students the chance to work with a local drink company this semester. Manufacturing Engineering Technician students at the college’s Belleville campus will be collaborating on a research project with County Cider Company in Picton.  Students will look at the company’s machinery and make recommendations for how to streamline production. The initiative is funded through a grant from the Ontario Centres of Excellence and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.  This is the first time the college has won the award.
