Construction on a road in Madawaska Valley starts today, meaning for some lane reductions and short-term closures. This kicks off three weeks of replacing two metal culverts with a concrete one on Vistula Road, just off Old Barry’s Bay Road. Renfrew County’s Engineering Project Manager Alan Johnson says all households on the road have been sent letters and that this shouldn’t cause traffic issues. The work is scheduled from today through until March 20.
