UPDATE #2 at 4 PM: Power has been fully restored, according to Hydro One’s power outage map.
UPDATE #1, 11/07 at Noon: Less than 200 customers are now without power. Hydro One estimates the remaining homes without power will have it back on by 4 PM.
Hydro One reports that over 2,000 customers are without power in the Hastings Highlands area.
The power outages stretches from just north of Birds Creek to Lake St. Peter.
Hydro One does not know what has caused the power outage but estimates restoration for Noon today.
There is also an area without power near Craigmont; power restoration is estimated for 3 PM today for that area.
