Three Separate Domestic Incidents Happen Over One Week

The three separate domestic incidents included one assault that happened in February.

On the 25th, Bancroft OPP responded to a call in the town. At the scene, they spoke to a female who had fled her home in her bare feet after being involved in a physical altercation. After getting permission from the homeowner to enter the residence, officers forced their way inside and located the 49-year-old male in the basement and arrested him. He was charged with four counts of fail to comply with recognizance.

He was held pending his bail hearing Belleville.

On March 1st, a female went to the Bancroft OPP detachment to report her friend was involved in a domestic incident. Officers went to the residence of a 22-year-old man who had gotten into a verbal argument with a different female. The male was on conditions to not associate with that female. The man ran before police were able to find him. The OPP are looking for him, but say they know who he is. When caught, he will be charged will be charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order.

The next day officers responded to a car crash on Highway 28 East in Carlow/Mayo Township. After arriving at the scene, they spoke with the driver and passenger to figure out if they needed medical attention. Officers later realized that the 46-year-old male driver was on conditions to not associate with the female passenger. He was arrested and charged with fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by officer in charge.

He was held pending a W.A.S.H. (Weekend and Statutory Holiday) court hearing.
