Volunteer and Information Quinte is extending the deadline for its volunteer awards to March 30. Winners will be recognized at this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast April 18 at Travelodge Belleville. Nominations are now being accepted from across Hastings and Prince Edward County, including in Bancroft. It’s part of National Volunteer Week, which runs from April 12 until 18. There are awards for business owners who donate their time and services, volunteers who go above and beyond and youth who are making a difference in their communities.
