United Way Launching New Campaign in Partnership With Local Car Dealerships

United Way Hastings and Prince Edward is partnering with 25 car dealerships across Hastings and Prince Edward counties, including three in North Hastings.

The new “Cars for Community” program will run from April 1st until June 30th with $10 from every car sold at Vance Motors, Boyer GM Bancroft, Auto Nexus another 22 other dealerships going to the United Way. Executive Director of the local United Way Brandi Hodge says they want to bring all the local dealerships together to help their communities with this new program.

“Those funds from residents in North Hastings are helping residents in the North Hastings community,” she says. The United Way helps fund North Hastings Children’s Services, Bancroft Community Transit, North Hastings Community Trust and North Hastings Community Cupboard along with 31 other agencies and 60 programs in their area.
