“I had to look at the cup 10 times.”
That’s coming from Ashley Bielaskie after her husband Jason showed her the winning Roll Up the Rim Tim Hortons cup that won them a Jeep Compass.
The Jeep is being provided by Bancroft’s Vance Motors dealership.
Jason says he rolled up the rim at work after his wife bought him the coffee that morning from the Barry’s Bay Tim Hortons. He says first saw the word “Compass” when he rolled up the rim in front of his co-workers. After rolling the rest of the rim up he saw the rest of what it said – “Jeep Compass.” He says he brought the cup home to his wife and joked that he told her the cup is a present.
“I’ve had enough Tim Hortons to pay for this Jeep,” the Killaloe native joked. The father-of-three adds that this is the first big prize the couple has won.
Forty vehicles were won in Canada with Roll Up the Rim. Restaurant owner Jason Armstrong says his location also had three people win mountain bikes.
