School Board Wants to Hear From You With School Climate Survey

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is surveying students, parents and guardians along with school staff to find out more about the school environment.

The survey will focus on equity and inclusive education and bullying/harassment. You can pick up a copy at North Hastings High School, York River Public School, Maynooth Public School, Coe Hill School, Bird’s Creek Public School along with the other schools covered by the school board.

The survey was opened on April 1st and will be available until May 3rd. The school board notes that participation is voluntary and anonymous.

This survey is a part of a province-wide initiative started by the Ministry of Education. They want to get feedback from students, parents and school staff to help improve the climate in schools.
