Man Charged for False Hunting Application, Using Another Licence

A Peterborough man appeared in court earlier this month to plead guilty to falsifying someone else’s Outdoors Card application two years ago and then using it to get a deer and moose licence.  The court says the man wrote that the cardholder had been in Ontario for the required amount of time to get an Outdoors Card when that wasn’t the case.  He has received a fine of $1,250.  The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reminds hunters to know the requirements they’re agreeing to when they apply for Outdoors Cards and licences.
