Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Bancroft and area.
Expect rain, heavy at times, as 25 to 50 millimetres could fall by this evening. Periods of rain could continue into Saturday.
Due to the ground still being frozen, localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
You are being advised to keep children and pets away from creeks and river beds as flash flooding and pooling on roads could be caused by heavy downpours.
