Wheels, Water And Wings Festival Line-up Confirmed

The line-up for 2019’s Wheels, Water and Wings festival has been confirmed.

The “Shake the Shield” poker run was added to the festival last year and will return for 2019. Last year the 393-kilometre ride through the area cost $25 to enter with the money raised going to the “Kids in Need” charity.

The poker run will be on-going during the festival from the first day on Friday, July 5th until the last day on Saturday, July 7th.

The highlight of the first night will be the street dance at 6:15 PM that will take attendees “back to the fabulous 50s.” The Bancroft Cruiser’s Classic Car Club will also be taking over Hastings Street for their car show from 5:30 PM until 10.

Throughout all three days, there will be various bands taking to the main stage at 68 Hastings Street North. The SwiftKick Band will be on at 9 PM on Friday with Canada Rockz being the closing act on Sunday at 1:30 PM.

Saturday will see the North of 7 River Races and the Knights of Columbus Soap Box Derby. That soap box races will be happening on Flint Avenue.

The 56th annual fly-in breakfast will be happening at the Jack Brown Airport on Sunday from 8 AM until noon with more concerts going on throughout the final day.

Wheels, Water and Wings will run from Friday, July 5th until the 7th. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
