Work will continue on a 2.7 kilometre stretch of Chemaushgon Road.
Public Works Manager Perry Kelly says it will get underway in the next two weeks. The road will be pulverized before granular material will be added, then it will be paved.
Preliminary work began on the road last summer.
Kelly says he expects the work to be done by July 26th. Until then, Greenwood Paving – the contractor brought in to do the work – will handle traffic management. Kelly says he knows there will be time delays and lane closures, but says he has to meet with Greenwood before construction begins to get an exact figure.
