OFATV’s Loyalty Discount Program Discontinued, Reciprocal Agreement with EOTA Moving Forward

The Ontario Federation of ATV Clubs voted to discontinue their loyalty program at their annual general meeting.

They have been working on a reciprocation agreement with the Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance. That agreement would see riders with an EOTA pass allowed on OFATV trails and vice versa.

The discontinuation of the loyalty program is something that hinges on a reciprocation agreement being agreed upon by OFATV and the EOTA, the OFATV say in a statement on their Facebook page. The EOTA has said that for talks of a reciprocation agreement to start, OFATV’s loyalty discount program would need to be discontinued.

OFATV’s general manager Denise Erickson says a “basic” agreement will now be written by OFATV. It will be sent to EOTA for them to look over. “Once we both agree on the reciprocal agreement, it will be signed,” Erikson says.

“We just want to give the riders more opportunity to ride in Ontario,” she says about the possible reciprocation agreement. “The riders want to ride more trails, we want to give them more trails to ride.”
