Highlands East council is hoping to see a diabetes education clinic in Wilberforce. The Bancroft Family Health Team is applying for funding and councillors recently gave approval for their support. They agreed to support it as long as a diabetes education clinic would be held at the Highlands East Medical Centre in Wilberforce at least once a month. The decision was made at the March 23 meeting.
