R.I.D.E. Check Stops 300 Cars, Two Drivers Charged

Three-hundred cars were stopped in a recent R.I.D.E. check on Stirling-Marmora Road and two drivers were charged.  A 23-year old Stirling man was charged with driving with a suspended licence, having no insurance and using the wrong licence plates on his vehicle.  A 28-year old man from Gatineau also received several driving charges including obstructing a police officer.  Both have court appearances in Belleville.
