No Frills Round-up Gets Hospital Auxiliary’s Fundraising Year Off to a Good Start

The North Hastings Hospital Auxiliary’s 2019 fundraising campaign is off to a good start.

They brought in $10,119.13 this year during the No Frills Round-up, which bests last years total by over $100.

“This year we had to purchase all the food except the condiments so I was running in and out getting what was needed,” explains volunteer with the Auxiliary Janice MacKenzie. She says she

The theme for their campaign this year is “every drop counts.” They’re raising money to buy a CBC Blood Analyzer and a Level 1 Fluid Warmer/Rapid Infuser for the hospital.

“The people in Bancroft are wonderful at supporting their hospital for whatever is needed,” MacKenzie says. She says she’s proud of the work the Auxiliary volunteers did over the weekend and thanks everyone who came out to support them and donate.
