Some local organizations are looking to recruit volunteers for upcoming community projects. The Village Playhouse needs creative people with an interest in the arts to help restore the historic theatre in downtown Bancroft. It’s also seeking people to help with musicals, productions and events like DocFest. A four-hour training session will run soon. Hospice North Hastings also wants people to do many different jobs, from office work to fundraising. Volunteer training will be offered Wednesday afternoons for six weeks starting April 15.
