Ontario Parks Issues 30×30 Challenge to Cottage Country Residents And Visitors

30 minutes in nature a day, that is all it takes to best a province-wide challenge.

With the month of August started, Ontario Parks has issued the 30×30 challenge to anyone going to or near a park.

The idea behind the challenge is that people spend at least 30 minutes a day out in nature for 30 days. According to officials, time in nature counts as anything from your own yard to a community garden or the countless provincial parks.

How you spend your 30 minutes is up to you, but Ontario’s Minister of Infrastructure and Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock MPP Laurie Scott suggests going for a hike or walk along cottage country trails.
