Local libraries are coming together for the love of reading. The Tri-County Reads program is a new initiative aimed at bringing adult readers together from three counties – Hastings, Prince Edward and Northumberland. Participants will all read the same book. The title isn’t being revealed until the program launch at 1 p.m. April 11 at the Hastings Highlands Public Library. Events based on the book will happen at the Bancroft, Carlow-Mayo and Hastings Highlands libraries leading up to a visit from the author in October.
