Bancroft, Centre Hastings and Quinte West’s OPP Community Street Crime Unit joined the Bancroft OPP in the drug bust that happened in Highlands East on August 21st.
Officers responded to a call of a suspicious person, which lead to an investigation and the arrest of two people at the scene. 21-year-old Emily Woodcock of Bancroft was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. 19-year-old Ryan Sterjovski of Toronto was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, along with two weapons-related charges, obstructing police and breach of recognizance.
Fentanyl, crystal meth, and cocaine were seized at the property along with three weapons.
Both accused have been held pending their bail hearing in Belleville.
