“As women, we get so busy in our lives, we wanted to design an event that would bring women together and pause for a few hours and celebrate living our best lives,” says the organizer of “Devine Femspiration” Cheryl Easton.
Three women will share their stories of “overcoming conflict, trauma and events in their life” that they want to use to encourage women to live their best lives, Easton says. There will be a panel discussion after.
“It’s good to take that pause and share with each other about what’s going on with our lives to encourage and empower the women in our community,” Easton says of the event.
There will also be local artisans on-site, like Easton who will be giving a motivational speech to those in attendance. Along with her, Cedar&Co. Botanicals, glass artist Karen Istead, author of “I am Loveable” Kimberly Dawn, Kelly McLeod of Lilac Tearoom and Designs, CEO of ProcurePro Consulting Jill Button, Roe and Joe Handbags, and local landscape artist Ketha Newman will be there.
The Granite restaurant will be hosting the event on September 14th from 9 AM until 1 PM with a buffet being set-up for attendees. You can find out how to get tickets on their Facebook page, but Easton notes tickets are limited.
