Highway 28 has been closed since 6:30 AM on Wednesday because of a fatal crash.
Bancroft OPP says a passenger vehicle and transport truck crashed on the highway near Bolton Road this morning. The driver of the car was pronounced dead on the scene while the truck driver walked away uninjured.
The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Paul Clemmer of Carlow-Mayo Township.
Police have been joined on-scene by technical collision investigators and collision reconstructionists to look into what caused the crash.
A stretch of Highway 28 from Detlor Road to Fort Stewart Road has been closed since the investigation started this morning. A detour has been set-up.
