If you need to vaccinate your pet but are worried about the cost, multiple animal hospitals are offering the service at a lower-than-usual cost.
The Faraday Animal Hospital is one of the 11 that will be offering vaccinations for cats and dogs for $35.
Bell Animal Hospital, Belleville Animal Hospital, Belleway Veterinary Hospital and Foxboro Veterinary Hospital in Belleville will be offering the service. Hrushy Veterinary Housecall Services, Prince Edward Animal Hospital, Stirling Veterinary Services, Quinte Animal Hospital and Trenton Pet Hospital will be as well.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health notes that rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs are mandatory in Hastings County.
They ask that you do not bring in wild animals or sick or dead animals.
