The North Hastings Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out at a home on Papineau Lake Road Sunday night.
Fire Chief Pat Hoover:
He says there were no injuries since the homeowners were away at the time and that a detached garage and shed were saved. Hoover says the cause is being investigated, although it isn’t considered suspicious. Damage is estimated to be upwards of $450,000.
