The St. Francis Herb Farm in Combermere is voluntarily recalling two of its products for high levels of lead and arsenic. Health Canada made the announcement yesterday, saying the herb farm found the contaminants in its Bulklax V laxative and the All Season Detox Kit during testing. Only products with an expiry date of March 2017 and April 2017 are being recalled. Symptoms range from stomach pain and headache to dizziness and weight loss. If you’ve used these products, you’re encouraged to contact your healthcare professional and to report any symptoms to Health Canada. For more information, click here.
