Charges have been laid in last week’s OPP investigation into an incident in Madawaska Valley. The Killaloe OPP say they received a call of a woman barricaded in a home on Sunny Hill Road in Barry’s Bay on April 14 around 3 a.m. Several OPP units responded including the: Tactical Response Unit, Emergency Response Unit, Canine Unit and Crisis Negotiator. A 28-year old Madawaska Valley Township woman has been charged with: assault with a weapon, break and enter and mischief. The accused is due in Killaloe court May 6.
