Library CEO Rodd Moffitt says tickets are now on sale for this year’s event. It The Fitzgerald’s will be joined on-stage by some community members to act out a murder and they will need the audience’s help in figuring out who did it. “They have been doing this for quite some time and are good at what they do,” Moffitt says. He adds to not let yourself get too confident and think it will be easy to figure out. Moffitt says he’s guessed wrong on who the murderer was in past years. The event will kick-off on November 29th at 6 PM inside the gym at the Hastings Highlands municipal office. There will lasagna served for dinner with dessert after. Moffitt says the event usually lasts just under two hours, with the murder mystery play going for just under one hour. Tickets cost $30 and can be bought at the library, the Maynooth General Store or Harvest Moon in Bancroft. There will also be a silent auction held at the library leading up to the event, then moved into the gym the night-of.
