The Township of Madawaska Valley has just posted this year’s summer jobs for students. They’re looking to fill seven positions – two assistants for the visitor’s centre, a swim instructor and up to four swim assistants. The visitor’s centre assistants need to be enthusiastic and passionate about tourism and marketing, have CPR and first aid training as well as a valid licence and their own vehicle. Applications are being accepted until May 1 at 4 p.m. Swim instructors and assistants must have all of their lifeguard certifications up-to-date as well as a valid licence and transportation. You have until May 8 at 4 p.m. to apply for these positions. Applicants must be students ages 15 and older who are returning to high school or post-secondary studies in September.
