The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is reminding residents that a flood watch continues for the York River Watershed. It says residents should watch the weather, avoid fast-moving water and make sure their property is tied down outside. The rest of the Bancroft area is under a water safety statement, meaning water and melting ice could be dangerous although flooding isn’t predicted. The forecast is calling for high levels of rain in Bancroft and across the province in the coming days.
