CP’s Holiday Train rolls through region

Anyone looking to catch a free concert and get into the holiday spirit won’t have to venture too far this week.

The Canadian Pacific’s Holiday Train will make stops in Belleville Thursday morning at 9:15 AM, Trenton at 10:35 AM and Brighton at 11:30 AM.

The train will stop west of the storage facility on Keegan Way in Belleville. You can catch the holiday train at R.C.A.F. Road and County Road 21 on the south side of the railway crossing in Trenton and on Prince Edward Street in Brighton.

The mobile concert will feature Canadian music artists Scott Helman and Madeline Merlo who are expected to perform for about 30 minutes at each stop.

The festive train has been running for over 20 years, with the goal of raising food donations and money for the communities it stops in. That means anyone planning to attend is asked to bring some cash or non-perishable food items.
