Over $15,000 raised during Moose FM’s Kids in Need radiothon

After 12 hours on the air, North Hastings has raised $15,637.80 for Kids in Need.

“We’re blown away,” Chair of Kids in Need Jennifer Foster said after the final total was announced. She calls the Bancroft community the most giving one she’s ever been a part of and notes how Kids in Need volunteers are always so proud to see how giving the community is.

“This will put a lot of toys under the tree and winter clothing kids that need it,” Foster adds.

If you weren’t able to donate during the radiothon, you can drop off your toy donation at the Bancroft Fire Hall, For The Halibut Fish & Chips, J.J.’s Diner, TD Bank, or Kawartha Credit Union.

You can also mail your cheque to PO Box 640 in Bancroft. Make it out to “Bancroft and Area Kids in Need.” You can also donate online by going to Canada Helps.
