Wollaston Township is looking for applicants to fill a vacant role in the municipality.
As a part of organizational restructuring, they’re looking to bring in a new Clerk/Administrator. “Reporting to Council, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily administration of the Municipal office,” the job description states. “This position entails a wide variety of functions, including the statutory and advisory duties of the Municipal Clerk, in accordance with the Municipal Act and other relevant legislation; coordination of council functions; conduct of Municipal elections; by-law preparation; report writing, record keeping, coordination of Freedom of Information requests, staff training, development and supervision.”
As a part of the requirements, the municipality asks that anyone applying must have municipal experience, with at least five years at a senior level.
