Hastings-Prince Edward District School Board seeking input on strategic plan

The Hastings-Prince Edward District School Board is creating a new five-year strategic plan and they are looking for input from families, students, employees and community members.

“We want to hear about how we can improve HPEDSB,” the school board says.

They’re asking those interested in helping them to go online and fill out their survey. “The purpose is to seek everyone’s thoughts about what they want HPEDSB to be, how we can improve and be the public education choice in our communities,” the school board says.

The school board notes that your thoughts and rating will remain anonymous. You have until January 31st to submit your input.

“As you reflect on your interactions with HPEDSB, consider this question: What are the most important things we can do as a public education system to improve and build confidence with you? then add your thoughts,” the school board says.

Chair of the Board Lucille Kyle says that creating a five-year strategic plan is important because it will help guide the Board of Trustees and staff.”Our unwavering belief is ‘all students first’ and we are committed to getting better at serving students,” she adds.
