A fire broke out in the kitchen of one of the townhouse complexes on Woodview Lane.
“The call came in around 8:30 AM,” Fire Chief Pat Hoover tells the MyBancroftNow.com newsroom. “We were able to get in and knock it down, do some ventilation and minimize the damage.” The fire was contained in the kitchen.
Hoover says the unit was vacant when they arrived.
An investigation is on-going to find out the cause of the fire.
