Two snowmobiles were reported stolen to the Bancroft OPP over the weekend.
The police got the call Saturday at 9 AM and later found the sleds in a parking lot on Hastings Street North in downtown Bancroft. After going to the scene and locating the snowmobiles they arrested two people. A 27-year-old and 33-year-old from Windsor, Ontario were both charged with possession property obtained by crime over $5,000 and altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number.
Both were later released and are scheduled to appear in court in Bancroft on March 10th.
