Environment Canada says the temperature will fall to -35 overnight and into Friday morning.
The weather agency says they expect the temperature to rise Friday morning. Environment Canada predicts the temperature will fall to -16 by Friday afternoon.
In the meantime, they suggest that you should keep emergency supplies in your vehicle like extra blankets and jumper cables. They also say to keep your pets inside and for outdoor workers to take regular breaks to warm up.
