Bancroft OPP is investigating a robbery that happened on Saturday.
A call came in shortly before 4 PM from an unidentified residence in Bancroft. When the police arrived at the location they found an adult that had been physically assaulted and had cash taken from him.
After an investigation, OPP arrested a 27-year-old from Bancroft and charged him with robbery with theft, two counts of failing to comply with probation, three counts of failing to comply with undertaking and possession of a schedule one substance, which the police suspect is methamphetamine.
The accused, who has not been named by police, is scheduled to have a bail hearing in Belleville at a later date.
