Hastings-Prince Edward Public Health has confirmed a third case of COVID-19 in the region.
A woman in her 20s has been confirmed to have contracted the virus. The Ministry of Health has confirmed she got it from “close contact” and is currently self-isolating.
The first confirmed case was a male in his 80s that travelled back to the region from Bermuda. The second was a male in his 20s who recently came from the United States. Both are reported by the Ministry to be self-isolating.
