A local community group called “Harvest the North” is looking for the public’s support to create ten community gardens in Bancroft. They’re hoping to place them in Riverside Park. A portion of the vegetables grown will be donated to the local Community Cupboard food bank. They’ll be looking for people to donate time or materials to the project. The project still needs the approval of Bancroft Town Council.
